Some of the most important moments in my own learning and growth have occurred through the conversations I have engaged in. Through listening to stories and hearing other perspectives we are able to better understand history and ourselves. The conversations featured here occurred with Race Project KC, the KC Chamber, a book release and podcast for Brittany Collins' text Learning from Loss, and poetry competitions for students at Louder than a Bomb (city-wide poetry festival).
